Save the dates 225 Year Anniversary Meeting of Stability 217 on 23rd March 2022. Meeting at Freemason’s Hall, Great Queen St in the evening followed by Festive Board at Freemason’s Hall. Also 225 Year Anniversary Festival the weekend of 1st October 2022 at Woodland Grange in Royal Leamington Spa. Stability 217 was founded in 1797 and has a lot of history. We have a very good mix and diversity of members with a very strong brotherhood. This ranges from those in their senior years who have a wealth of experience, to many younger members in their twenties and everybody in between. In fact after special dispensation we initiated the 18 year old son of one our members to join our lodge in April 2019. We work hard on our ritual to ensure we uphold the ancient Stability workings and deliver very well practiced meetings. But equally we all enjoy our masonry, the camaraderie between us and have fun at the festive boards after our meetings and at the social events we organise. We have a breakfast club who meet monthly as part of our Lodge of Instructions where we practice for upcoming meetings. We aim to improve our communities and support many masonic and non-masonic charities.
People join masonry for many different reasons, but why join Stability 217? We are a very friendly and welcoming lodge, and new members realise very quickly there is a strong bond of friendship and camaraderie that develops between members.

The regular meetings of the lodge are held on the 2nd Friday in January, the 4th Friday of February (Installation), 2nd Fridays of April, September, and October. Our Lodge of Instruction (LOI) meet the first Saturday of each month (excluding June and July) at Freemason’s Hall at 9am. Our LOI Festival is normally the 1st Saturday in December (in 2019 it is Saturday 30th November due to room availability).

As I write this foreword for Arena, change is all around us. We are mourning the death of our late Sovereign, Queen Elizabeth, whilst pledging our allegiance to our new King, Charles.
